A custom hole pitch glass door pull handle helps project buyers specify a replacement around the existing door preparation or develop a new OEM mounting pattern. Qingdao Gleam Hardwares supports drawing and sample review for importers, property maintenance buyers and hardware brands that need the hole spacing, grip style and fixing kit to be evaluated together.

Compare all glass door pull handle styles and select the configuration for your project.

Common Sizes and Custom Options

These are made-to-order production options. Special lengths, mounting centers and profiles can be customised.

Size options for this handle family
Specification Production options
Common metric C-to-C starting points 300, 400, 450 or 600 mm
Imperial and special mounting centers Made to the original specified dimension; 24 in = 609.6 mm
Profile options Round tube 19, 25 or 32 mm; square section 19 × 19 or 25 × 25 mm
Glass thickness 8, 10 or 12 mm; other interfaces reviewed with the drawing

Specify overall length and C-to-C separately. Confirm the selected length, mounting centers, glass holes and fixing kit together on the order drawing.

Custom Hole Pitch Glass Door Pull Handle OEM China

Before requesting a replacement, measure the center-to-center distance between existing holes, their diameter and the door thickness. Include a photograph with the relevant measurement references and a drawing where possible. Overall grip length can differ from the mounting pitch, so write down both rather than using one nominal size for the whole assembly.

Measurement or requirement How to specify it Why it matters
C-to-C / hole pitch Distance between mounting-hole centers in millimeters Defines the interface with the prepared door
Overall length Complete end-to-end handle length Controls appearance and end clearance
Glass holes Diameter, quantity and position relative to edges Must match the approved glass and fixing preparation
Door thickness Measured thickness and material Affects sleeves, fasteners and mounting-kit selection
Projection / grip gap Clearance from the door face and adjacent hardware Prevents conflicts with panels, frames or locks
32mm diameter entrance pull State requested tube outside diameter and wall thickness separately Diameter alone does not define the construction
Finish and grade Material specification plus a physical finish reference Supports a clear replacement or OEM quotation

24-Inch and Metric Requests: Keep the Dimensions Separate

Request received Clarification required before quotation
24 inch back to back glass door pull handle SS304 24 inches equals 609.6mm. Confirm whether this describes total length or mounting centers, then specify SS304 and the actual drawing dimensions.
600mm handle State total length and C-to-C separately; do not treat 600mm as exactly 24 inches.
400mm stainless steel door pull handle Identify which dimension is 400mm and give the fixing-hole details.
1200mm long entrance handle Confirm total length, support positions and a separate mounting-center dimension.
Replacement for an existing pair Provide photographs, measured holes, door thickness and the original fixing arrangement where available.
Do not change existing glass holes to force a fit. Glass preparation and installation must be reviewed by the responsible glass fabricator or installer against the approved door and hardware drawing.

From an Existing Sample to an OEM Quote

  1. Identify the door material, prepared holes, existing grip and installation constraints.
  2. Send measurements, photographs or a physical sample with complete-set quantity and destination.
  3. Review the proposed handle drawing, material, finish and fixing components.
  4. Approve a physical fit and finish sample on representative door preparation.
  5. Confirm inspection records, labeling, pack count and wholesale terms before production.

A More Useful Replacement and Service Offer

A maintenance buyer needs confidence that the new set will match the door interface. A distributor needs a specification that can be identified again when another customer asks for the same replacement. Recording the hole pitch, fixing kit and finish together gives both teams a clearer reference and can reduce avoidable sample cycles.

For an OEM brand, a custom mounting pattern can form part of a distinct hardware range. Keep the drawing revision and part identification with the approved sample. If the door profile or fixing kit changes later, quote it as a revised configuration so older stock is not confused with the new version.

Mounting Bolts, Packing and Inspection

For a heavy duty round bar door pull handle with mounting bolts request, define the required construction and performance evidence. Tubular and solid designs must not be treated as equivalent simply because the grip looks round. The kit should list bolt dimensions, material, sleeves, washers and component counts, with any test requirement agreed for the assembly.

Agree dimensional checks, fit review, finish comparison and kit completeness as part of the inspection plan. If the project requires a material record, coating test or third-party inspection, state the scope before accepting the quotation. Reports, fees and timing are confirmed per order.

Custom Mounting FAQ

Can you copy a handle from a photograph alone?

A photograph helps identify the style, but critical dimensions and the fixing interface need measurements, a drawing or a sample before fit can be assessed.

Is custom hole spacing available with a small trial order?

Send the drawing and quantity. Feasibility, tooling or sample needs and MOQ are reviewed for the actual configuration.

Can mounting bolts and spare parts be included?

List the required kit and spares in the enquiry. Their dimensions, materials and counts are confirmed with the approved handle assembly.

Can a new handle reuse existing glass holes?

That is the objective of replacement review, but compatibility must be verified against measured holes, door thickness and the fixing design. Do not assume a fit from overall length.
