Custom extruded PVC and EPDM seal profiles are used when a standard catalogue section does not match the receiving groove, glass interface, frame gap or equipment edge. The project starts from a controlled drawing or physical sample and ends with an approved production reference.

This page is for drawing-based development and replacement matching. Buyers needing a defined glass-channel section can start with the PVC glazing gasket; buyers needing a flexible closing section can compare the compression bulb seal.

Assorted profile examples illustrate different functions. They are not one interchangeable product family or a stock guarantee.

Information Required for a Custom Extrusion

Cross-section Dimensioned 2D profile with all lips, barbs, cavities, radii, wall sections and datum points
Mating assembly Aluminum or equipment channel, glass or panel thickness, movement direction and installed contact
Material PVC or EPDM route, requested hardness or approved sample, color and any documented performance test
Tolerance Critical fit dimensions identified separately from general dimensions
Supply format Roll length or cut length, joints or corners if required, label and protective packing
Commercial brief Trial and annual quantity, destination, sample timing and private-label requirements

Drawing and Sample Approval Route

  1. Application review: identify what the profile must contact, retain or close.
  2. Drawing control: agree the dimension convention, material route and critical tolerances.
  3. Sample comparison: check the section, fit, appearance and handling in the mating assembly.
  4. Bulk reference: retain the approved drawing revision, sample and packing identification for repeat orders.

A worn sample can shrink, stretch or deform. If the original drawing is unavailable, send several straight pieces plus the receiving channel so the replacement can be evaluated against the actual fit.

OEM and Wholesale Supply

Bulk orders should be divided by profile, color and packing unit. State whether length is measured before or after coiling, whether cut pieces need orientation control, and how each carton or reel should identify the model. Tooling, sample terms, lead time and minimum quantity depend on section complexity and the agreed manufacturing route and therefore are quoted project by project.

Compare the complete sealing profile range and use the profile measurement guide before sending your file.
