The U shaped glass door pull handle provides a continuous rounded grip for commercial glass entrances and interior partitions. This page is for project-size U-shaped or D-shaped pulls supplied to an approved drawing—not for a universal replacement part.
Qingdao Gleam Hardwares works with importers, architectural hardware distributors, glass-door fabricators and OEM brands. Compare the full glass door pull handle collection before choosing the model, size and mounting kit.

Overall length and C-to-C are different measurements. Use the standard glass door handle size chart to prepare the enquiry and keep the approved drawing with the purchase order.
Commercial U-Shaped Pulls vs Shower Door Handles
This page targets U shape glass door handles for commercial entrances and partitions, typically specified with project mounting centers and a coordinated architectural finish. It does not replace the compact bathroom selection route. For 6 in (152.4 mm) or 8 in (203.2 mm) enclosure centers, use the frameless shower glass door pull handle page.
Keeping these two uses separate prevents the wrong fixing kit or scale from being ordered and gives searchers a page that matches their actual buying intent.
Where Buyers Use U-Shaped Glass Pull Handles
- Office, showroom and retail glass entrance doors
- Hotel and commercial interior glass partitions
- Door-fabrication programs requiring rounded edges and a continuous grip
- Distributor ranges offered in several finishes
- Replacement projects where dimensions are confirmed from a drawing or sample
Review opening direction, clearance to the frame or adjacent panel, hand space and door travel. If an asymmetric grip is needed to move the hand position away from an obstruction, compare the offset cranked glass door pull handle.
Installation and Sample Approval
Confirm C-to-C, hole diameter, glass thickness, sleeves, washers and bolt engagement against the approved door drawing. Do not drill or modify tempered glass on site. Approve one representative set for dimensions, finish, kit completeness and packaging before a repeat order.
U Shaped Glass Door Handle FAQ
Is U-shaped the same as D-shaped?
Suppliers and buyers may use both terms for similar continuous rounded pulls. A dimensioned drawing is more reliable than the name alone.
Can we order 300, 400, 450 or 600 mm mounting centers?
These are common production options for review. The final C-to-C, overall length, return depth and fixing kit are confirmed together.
Can one page cover polished, satin, black and gold-tone finishes?
Yes as a model family, but each finish needs its own approved reference and quotation. A photograph is not a finish standard.
Can the handle use existing holes?
Provide the measured C-to-C, hole diameter and glass thickness. A custom match can be reviewed, but compatibility is not assumed.
Plan the Size and Installation
- Compare overall length, C-to-C and tube diameter.
- Review back-to-back and through-bolt installation checks.
- Need 600, 800 or 1000 mm straight pulls? See the multi-size straight pull handle series.
